Maintenance List

  1. Exterior Inspection:

    • Check for any signs of damage or wear on the body, roof, windows, and awnings.

    • Inspect the tires for proper inflation, tread wear, and sidewall damage.

    • Examine the lights, including headlights, brake lights, and turn signals.

    • Inspect the hitch, coupler, and safety chains for proper attachment and condition.

    • Check the condition of the leveling jacks, if applicable.

  2. Interior Inspection:

    • Inspect the overall cleanliness and functionality of the interior.

    • Check for signs of leaks or water damage on the walls, ceiling, and flooring.

    • Test all appliances, such as the stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and air conditioning unit.

    • Check the plumbing system for leaks, and proper operation of faucets, toilets, and showers.

    • Inspect the electrical system, including outlets, switches, and the circuit breaker panel.

    • Test the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

  3. Mechanical Systems:

    • Inspect the engine, belts, and hoses for any signs of damage or wear.

    • Check the fluid levels, including oil, coolant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid.

    • Test the brakes for proper operation and pad wear.

    • Inspect the suspension system for any signs of damage or wear.

    • Check the exhaust system for leaks or damage.

  4. Propane System:

    • Inspect the propane tanks for any signs of damage or leaks.

    • Test the operation of the propane appliances, such as the stove, oven, and water heater.

    • Check the propane lines for leaks or damage.

  5. Safety Equipment:

    • Test the functionality of fire extinguishers and ensure they are within their expiration dates.

    • Inspect and test the emergency exit windows and doors.

    • Check the condition and operation of the RV's entrance steps.
